Lead PowerBuilder Migration Developer
UNIVERSAL Technologies is seeking a Lead PowerBuilder Migration Developer with at least 7-years of experience migrating 3-Tier PowerBuilder Apps and 7 years of experience specifically with the EAServer Enterprise Application Framework (DDS EAF).for a remote position.

Position: The PowerBuilder Developer will help modernize many of the client’s core application systems. The modernization effort and associated software delivery will occur incrementally and will consist of multiple, discrete projects, which will cumulatively result in the full implementation of a final enterprise-wide software solution hosted on Azure, and the sunsetting of all legacy systems.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree.
Minimum of 7 years of experience successfully migrating 3-tier PowerBuilder Systems to modernized, supported platforms.
Minimum of 7 years of experience specifically with the EAServer Enterprise Application Framework (DDS EAF).
Possess a demonstrable ability (based on the successful completion of previous projects) to successfully work effectively in a remote environment while maintaining a high level of collaboration with all project team members.
Possess excellent communication skills including, but not limited to:
The ability to provide highly effective knowledge transfer.
The ability to provide written documentation of architecture diagrams, technology roadmaps, technical specifications, procedures, technical recommendations, testing results and project management documentation including risks, issues, and schedules, among others.
Must be able to pass a Mandatory ITS Security Agreements.
Must be able to have Fingerprint-based Background Check and sign an NDA.
JOB DUTIES:
Provide a lead development resource to rewrite the EAF framework java classes that currently support the JSP-to-Jaguar calls (via CORBA) into C#.
Deploy code through the DEV, QA and Production environments at appropriate times in the development lifecycle.
The new .NET web apps would leverage the C# layer to successfully call the PB components that would be hosted on PB virtual machine on the IIS server. The call from the web apps will be coded by client programmers.
Conduct code review and knowledge transfer sessions with staff.
Remediation of any post deployment issues.

Office of Court Administration (OCA) Application Development.
Request for DB/WC Exemption.
