NG911 Integration Architect
UNIVERSAL Technologies is seeking an NG911 Integration Architect for an onsite position based in Brooklyn, NYC. An active LinkedIn account is preferred.
Position: The NG911 Integration Architect will design, implement, and manage integration solutions for mission-critical NG911 systems. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and experience in emergency communication systems, with a focus on ensuring interoperability, performance, and stability of a system-of-systems architecture.

SCOPE OF SERVICES:
As the NG911 Integration Architect, your responsibilities include:
Designing and architecting integration solutions for NG911 systems to ensure seamless interoperability between components.
Collaborating with subject matter experts and project managers to deliver required system functionalities and maintain a stable enterprise architecture.
Leading the implementation of integration solutions, including middleware configuration, API development, and communication protocol setup.
Driving end-to-end testing, providing test cases for SAT/SIT, and identifying areas for automation and scripting.
Validating test results against architectural deliverables to ensure accuracy and system performance.
Building and supporting mission-critical infrastructure for highly distributed systems within a public safety environment.
MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Note: Candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered.
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of 12 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure Engineering, or related technical roles within a public safety environment.
Extensive technical architecture experience, enabling the creation of future-proof public safety solutions.
Experience in large-scale integration projects involving multiple technologies, virtual infrastructures, and end-user agencies.
Expertise with SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) and RTP (Real-Time Protocol).
Experience utilizing monitoring tools within NG911 systems.
Proficiency in system integration techniques and designing solutions that seamlessly integrate with existing infrastructure.
Strong written, verbal communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
Deep knowledge of system design principles, software architecture, and hardware components.
Subject Matter Expert in Enterprise Integration for complex applications in the public safety domain.
DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Experience with requirements documentation and creating comprehensive project deliverables.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Strong learning agility to adapt quickly to new technologies and concepts.
Clear understanding of the systems development lifecycle, identifying challenges, and resolving issues efficiently.
Experience overseeing multiple technical projects from an integration and testing perspective.
Public Safety System-of-Systems integration, engineering, and testing background.
