UNIVERSAL Technologies is seeking a Program Manager for a fully remote position. Candidates must reside in the EST time zone and have an active LinkedIn account.

Position: The Program Manager will lead and manage the implementation of a large-scale legacy replacement program. The ideal candidate will oversee program planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure alignment with strategic goals, stakeholder expectations, and quality standards. This role requires extensive experience in software implementation, risk management, and organizational change management.

SCOPE OF SERVICES:

As a Program Manager, your responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with the Systems Integrator to implement the strategic vision for the Legacy Replacement Program.

  • Leading program planning, execution, monitoring, and closure to ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

  • Acting as the primary liaison with the program sponsor and executive stakeholders on all matters impacting scope, budget, risk, and resource management.

  • Managing vendor relationships to ensure quality deliverables and compliance with project scope and timelines.

  • Establishing and maintaining effective program governance structures.

  • Managing risk and addressing technical challenges, data migration issues, and organizational change.

  • Developing and executing organizational change management strategies to support user adoption of new systems and processes.

  • Reporting regularly on program status, risks, and issues to executive leadership and key stakeholders.

  • Driving ongoing program improvement by assessing outcomes, capturing lessons learned, and applying insights forward.

MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Note: Candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered.

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field (preferred).

  • PgMP Certified or Certified Project Manager.

  • At least 5 years of experience with large-scale legacy replacement projects involving multiple vendors and large data conversions.

  • At least 10 years of proven experience in software implementation as a senior program or project management leader.

  • Experience interfacing with executives and delivering presentations.

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences.

DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience with organizational change management methodologies and tools.

  • Proven ability to establish goals, set clear expectations, prioritize activities, and ensure completion.

  • Strong organizational skills to manage tasks of varying complexities, stages, and deadlines.

  • Experience with the software development lifecycle and application release management.

  • Effective meeting and workshop facilitation skills.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-based environment.
