UNIVERSAL Technologies is seeking a Senior Performance/Load Tester for a remote position in Brooklyn, NY. Selected candidate must reside EST time zone with preference given to candidates local to New York City and  have a LinkedIn account.

Position: The Senior Performance/Load Tester will perform Performance/Load Test Planning, Test Estimation, Test Strategy, Workload Design, Test Cases Design, Test Environment Setup, Test Data Setup, Defect Management, and Configuration Management to execute Benchmark, load, stress, endurance, and other non-functional tests.

MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 12 years of QA Engineer experience with at least 5 years of recent experience as a Senior Performance/Load Test Engineer.

  • Must have recent experience in Manual and Automation Testing.

  • At least 3 years’ experience using JMeter and HP Load Runner.

  • At least 5 years’ experience writing automation scripts in JavaScript and Java.

  • Testing Coordination experience – able to understand End-to-End performance test process and experience on how and when to engage different teams such as DBA, Dev, or System admins.

  • Experience analyzing critical business scenarios.

  • Experience preparing the performance test strategy.

  • Experience preparing effort estimation and conducting all aspects of testing.

  • Experience developing and executing test scripts, enhancing the scripts by creating/implementing Parameterization, Checkpoints, Reusable functions, Iterations etc.

  • Experience analyzing the tool capabilities and setup of the tool in the required environment.

  • Experience conducting triage meetings.

  • Experience presenting the report to the identified stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of enterprise integration software technologies such as Web Services.

  • Experience with Continuous integration with Performance Testing.

  • Experience working with test automation tools.

  • Experience working in various SDLC processes including Agile.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills including negotiation, problem resolution, and customer service.

  • Expertise with MS-Office specifically Microsoft Word, Project, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.

  • Strong documentation and communication skills.

  • Experience testing complex enterprise applications involving Legacy systems.

  • Experience in legacy system migration projects.

  • Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce and MS Dynamics.

  • Experience in DevOps process and familiarity with Copado will be a plus.

  • Experience with Workflow systems.

  • Experience in Public Pension Systems.

  • Experience with JIRA and SharePoint.

  • Experience with API and Web Services testing.

  • Exposure to various Load/Performance testing and monitoring tools.

  • Performance Testing Certification from ISTQB or other institutions.


SCOPE OF SERVICES:

  • Perform Performance/Load testing and Automation testing of the new Pension Administration system which includes 32 separate functional work streams with complex and diverse use cases and scenarios, CRM, web applications, and mainframe applications.

  • Identify testing requirements from specifications, build and execute test plans, test scripts, and test cases, facilitate discussions on defects identified and test plan reviews with cross-functional team members, report and track all defects, and verify fixes in test environments.

  • Adapt to new disciplines and frameworks that will be implemented in partnership with the QA vendor.

  • Collaborate with SI and QA vendor closely for all phases of testing from requirements review, test script development, test execution, test result analysis and issue tracking for manual, automation, and performance testing.

  • Review user stories, BRDs, functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of the business and the system.
