SCOPE OF SERVICES:
As a Senior Project Manager, responsibilities include:
Providing Information Technology Project Management consulting services for the completion of assigned projects.
Working within the Enterprise Project Management Office division to ensure alignment with organizational goals and adherence to Project Portfolio Management policies and practices.
Managing organizational project teams in support of project demand.
Following PMI PMBOK Project Management guidelines, concepts, and the project management life cycle in all project initiatives.
Identifying, assessing, and recommending process improvement opportunities through standardization, automation, and business process reengineering (BPR) efforts.
Supporting testing cycles (UAT, regression, system) and/or Training/Training Materials.
Acting as the focal point of contact regarding overall project status, monitoring, and control, including scope, schedule, costs, quality, communications, risks, procurements, and stakeholder management.
Leading and managing multiple project teams simultaneously.
Creating and maintaining project schedules using established scheduling software (MS Project).
Developing and maintaining all standard project management artifacts for project initiatives.
Facilitating and leading project meetings, Scrums, knowledge transfers, and executive status reporting sessions remotely and in person.
Partnering with other managers to ensure effective implementation of project goals and collaboration efforts.
MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Note: Candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered.
Minimum of 4 years of experience managing and overseeing medium to large-scale projects comprised of sub-projects and/or multiple work streams.
Experience working within a Project Management Office (PMO) function or unit.
Experience managing, coordinating, and delegating project assignments with project stakeholders, including employees and consultant project staff numbering a minimum of 10 personnel.
Strong stakeholder and communications management experience and skills.
Effective project monitoring and controlling experience and methods.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including team leadership, negotiation, collaboration, problem resolution, and customer service.
Experience presenting project status to upper management.
Strong skills in Microsoft 365 software toolset, specifically Excel, SharePoint, Word, and PowerPoint.
PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Project Management Certification (PMP).
Planview PPM Pro software experience.
Experience with a variety of project delivery methodologies (Agile, COTS, Iterative, and Waterfall).
